We are a charitable society of volunteers providing search and rescue servces to the South Peace area and support to other local search and rescue teams

Purposes

When requested, volunteer Search and Rescue teams are available to support Ground Search and Rescue activities throughout the Peace Region. All members receive search training with some trained in specialized disciplines including Rope Rescue, Tracking, Swiftwater Rescue, Ice Rescue and HETS. With 22 Active GSAR members and 3 SAR Managers. We have Advanced first aid traning ranging from level 1 with Tranportation Endorsement, to EMR's and PCP's. With the ability to provide in house first aid training.

Based in Dawson Creek BC
 This group serves the Peace River Regional District in cooperation with The Northeast region. This area spans from the Mackenzie valley to the Yukon/Nunavut and Alberta borders. There are five SAR groups in this region.

  Chetwynd SAR, North Peace SAR , Fort Nelson SAR and Tumbler Ridge SAR.
